Small name pa-dunk brand Azzzzpen A701.

OfficeMax had a special (clearance I am sure) for $70, wanted something Droid to play around, know they enemy kind of thing.
Did not open it yet, considering if I should now.

So, what should I do with it? (and NO, no drop testing it. Let the other guys do it).

A701 7 inch Andorid 4.0 ICS Tablet
CPUCortex A8 1.2 GHz
Mali400 Graphic Processor
3D Accelerator
Display: 7" LCD 800 x 480 (16:9)
RAM: 512MB DDR3
Storage Memory: 4GB SSD

Well for $70 you may as well give it a bash. Quite surprised at specs too. Does it run jellybean though ?

If you are just going to play around with it and do not have high expectations, why not?

I assume they have a return policy but are there any reviews for this beast? :D

Play with it and return it after you get tired with it, which should last about 2 hours.

From a hardware perspective, it should. A 1.2GHz A8 with Mali 400 is almost definitely the Allwinner A13 SOC, similar in hardware performance to most 2010-era upmarket Android phones. Not impressive compared to any current mainstream tablet, but not unusable.
