Okay so I just got a new 16 G WiFi model last night and I was super excited to open it up and use it.

However when I did, on the bottom right corner of the black border of the screen there is what looks to be a very small chip.

It is only visible when trying to look for it, with a certain angle of light, but I am one of those anal people.

I just don't know whether to try and return it or not. Will they give me a new one? I don't want to walk in and look like an idiot because of such a minor minor flaw, but then again I would except a brand new piece of equipment to come flawless.

Will I have a good chance of getting this replaced?

Yeah I have everything. I literally bought it last night at 8pm haha. Ill take it in today. Thanks guys.

Same thing on mine which I bought two days ago. But I can't quite work out if it's a chip or a little bit of rubber from the rubber seal.

I figured I do not need the 32 GB simply because the iPad is not for my music and what not. That is what I have my 32GB iphone for. But anyways they did exchange the ipad, the girl did not know what it was, but said it could be the oleophobic screen starting to peel off the glass.

Made sense because it looked like it was pushed up.

We lost power the other day during a storm & I thought maybe a 3G would have been a better choice.

But I have an iPhone & decided I was set just right...

Most likely if you have an iPhone you won't need to worry about 3g for your iPad.

Use it at home, Starbucks etc on the WiFi and use your iPhone when you can't get it....makes sense.

I would recommend at least 32gb though......

Depends on what usage. I use my iPad for a lot of web browsing, viewing documents, viewing Twitter, and writing a LOT of notes with Notes Plus. I do not put movies or many videos on as I have ABC player installed and Netflix to fulfill those needs. 16GB is the right model for people like me.
I got the wifi as I have wifi available at home, school, and work. Only place I don't have wifi available is in my car but I have a BB smartphone to take care of those gaps.
I should mention that out of 16GB I'm only using about 7GB right now. I doubt that number will ever cross 10. My iPod Touch is 32GB and is currently using only 3GB but that I gave away to my wife who uses it mainly for skype.

Wow. Ok, I guess that works for you. My music on my Touch is over 15gb alone so obviously we are good examples of users who require the different spectrum of gb options. Kudos.

Thats what the apple rep tight it may be. Some of the screen of the glass starting to peel off. Could be a. Huge problem later on. Definitely exchange it
