So I got Chromebook religion

My Pixel came in yesterday and this machine is silly, stupid, fast and smooth even at 2560x1700 on integrated graphics. I put it in dev mode as soon as it arrived and installed crouton last night and Ubuntu 14.04. That little script is pretty much awesome just run it enter a user name and password and Ubuntu is all set up. So now I have a beautiful and fast machine that runs Ubuntu and ChromeOS at the same time and can switch between with a key combo. It's better than a just Linux box since you can smart unlock and sync everything. This has to be one of the coolest computers I've ever had.

I got me some religion BAD.

Looks like the only Pixel computer they're shipping at the moment is the Pixel-c which is a tablet type computer.

It's first gen and it came from the bay ~$300.

I was going to wait and get a System76 laptop but this popped into a search was half the price with a better screen but worse battery life.

I have my fingers crossed that they offer a hybrid type form factor, a la the Surface Pro/iPP/Samsung TabPro S. Realize it's a real longshot but, one can hope.
