4 macs, 3 ipods
no problems
1 Apple Classic II still working since 1987, a PPC 8500 as my desktop and with only one repair, the 3,15 disk drive, and a new MBP C2D flawless.
Awesome you guys, doesnt really help me now does it?
Well what do you expect us to do? Call Apple and get a new one (I mean you, not us ).Awesome you guys, doesnt really help me now does it?
Correct sir.Maybe I missed something, but are you say ing you had problems with ALL of those items?
Well. Ive sorta tried that a couple of times now. Gettin tired of it to be honest.Well what do you expect us to do? Call Apple and get a new one (I mean you, not us ).
2006 was a record year for me too:
3 Macbook pros (1.83 and 2ghz)
5-6 (can't remember) macbooks
All of them defective in one way or another and returned or replaced by Apple. Problems: extreme heat generation, bulging aluminum, warped bezel, whine, plastic bezel around LCD coming off, black unilluminated corner on an LCD, squeaking hinges, peeling finish, criss-cross pattern on LCD, flickering screen etc etc.
I'm pretty impressed that Apple is able to produce so many defective machines and still have its stock value rise to record levels! I guess it's all ipod now.
Why don't you buy from Acer next time around?
For my next Apple purchase, instead of Apple Care, I may purchase an umbrella to protect me from a similar dark cloud over my head.
The thing that gets me is how the same people get multiple problems in their buying experience; I mean, I could see one replacement for one product, but probability-wise, it just seems so crazy to have it happen on that kind of volume. Other than a slightly buggy 4G iPod, I've had a good experience with my PB, MBP, and 2 other iPods, and when their time came, I replaced them. Sorry to hear your experience has been so lousy
it's because you belong to the darkside say hello to Vista from meI usually dont have this bad luck...just with Apple.
