great thanks, also when i take the songs and put them on itunes is senuti erasing them from my ipod and putting them into itunes or just copying them from my ipod and making a copy to itunes?

It's copying them from the iPod, so once it is done the songs will still be on the iPod.

thanks again one more thing, when i plug my ipod in i know itunes has a habbit of auto syncing when that happens therefore it would delete all my songs on my ipod before i even get i chance to do the transfer. how do i stop this?

and on my windows pc i have manually manage music and videos ticked on but when i go to tick it on it says are you sure want to disable? if you click ok everything will be replaced with itunes library and thier is nothing in that library what if that happens when i get to my mac?
