i dont know if its just me, but im suspecting an ultra thin aluminum macbook, is anyone feeling this?
Maybe, but wouldn't the switch from the plastic body, to a aluminum body, increase the cost of the Macbook?
Exactly. If Apple does an ultra thin alumi machine, it'll be a MacBook Pro because the price will likely be high.
If Apple moves the MacBook line to alumi, it'll likely be in colours like the shuffle and nano.
well look at the ipods, the price didnt change, aluminum may just be standard for apple and theres no use in making it more expensive
Then I guess that's irrevent. What is still curious is when they will refresh the MacBooks? Mabe at MacWorld, or at some other event...

To be fair, there is a lot more material in a laptop than there is in a laptop.
And am I the only person who can see them doing different coloured plastics? Which would keep costs down but still let the macbook line blend in with the rest.
there will not be an ultra thin macbook pro we've been over this lots of times![]()

My wife would kill for a pink MacBook! It's all well and good moving everything into aluminium, it all matches...but it's a bit dull. Coloured MacBooks would be good fun!
they will be changing the MacBook to alumi because they are trying to become more environmentally friendly (pshhh... I love the current white plastic or w\e it is)
And when this happens, it will most likely be in colors... which I personally dislike this idea, I think there sales will drop,
Am I right in saying that the Mighty Mouse, Airport Express and Macbook are the only predominantly plastic Apple products excluding accessories?

Airport Extreme too.
Was surprised the new Extreme didn't come in a similar aluminium coating like Apple TV does.
