Am I getting the right idea? It would not be possible to open up your iMac, pop in a 2.5'' HDD, and then replace the superdrive with another 2.5'' HDD?

Pretty sure my Dad's iMac uses 3.5 drives, not laptop (2.5) drives?

The iMac uses a 3.5 hard drive and a 2.5 disk drive. The new update adds a 2.5 SSD option.

Putting the super drive in an external enclouser, dropping in a 256GB SSD, and RAID-0 to the other SSD would be interesting if its possible.
