Don't fall for it just because somebody yells loudly about an issue. Do you remember the "stalling issue" with Toyota Priuses? For a while, even the press made it seem like it was affecting some many users last year. Still it turned out, Prius had the lowest percentage of users taking their cars into service (4%) for problems among every other car model. To put this number into perspective, VW Passat was the worst with over 70%.
I have a non-Apple base station and I don't seem to have any issues, although with Apple's reputation for ease of use, it should "just work" for anybody, not for most cases. Considering people are not returning their products in droves and that there are not any highly visible news stories in the press lead me to believe this is not a major problem that affects the majority of the users. hope Of course, when a user feels helpless, it does not help whether it affects the masses. I sincerely hope Apple fixes whatever the problem is.
In the end, after quite a few months of wide availability, I'd say it is a successful Rev A product. Of course, only time will tell about the long term reliability.
Sure, now that I've said that, I'll just be sitting here, posting on MR, and out of nowhere it will just cra
