so is there still no realiable fix for push notifications?

I don't have access to an AT&T sim to get push notification working, nor do I want to restore my phone again.

I saw there was another method using PushFix but it looks like it's not very reliable. Is this correct? Anyone have the latest word on push notification for my 3G?

Import certs from an iPod touch.

Are new seperate certs created every time you restore an iPod touch or are they device specific?

Because I want to use my friend's iPod touch but we don't want to receive eachother's push notifications.
