iPod So my ipod 5.5 with new battery and new hdd arrived today...

And I must say, for a device from 2006 this has a nice display and is actually pretty decently small!

My only other ipod classic was my first ipod, a 30 gb hp ipod color. Since then I had two ipod nanos, an ipod shuffle 4th, and now what I have today..

I have said it many times here but here I go again.
I think the 5.5G is the best iPod Apple ever made. As in a music player, not a multimedia device a la iPod Touch.
The white color is also more fancy that the silver aluminium a la macbooks on the Classics.

The clickwheel of the 2006 model is SO responsive and precise (especially compared to the modern Classics) that it feels like a touchscreen, and it is also bigger.
