with the iPad Pro switching to usb c, we will have to carry at least two cables at all times?

There are a-to-micro/c/lightning cables now on the market, so now apple, please loose the restrictions on 3rd party usb-c to lightning cables, so we can have a usb-c/lightning combined cable.
You made this mess and now you will have to clean it up

I imagine Apple will shift the iPhones over to C next year to just make everything 1 cable (MBP, MBA, MB, new iPad's, etc)

I wonder if the first gen apple pencil will work (and pair) with a usb c to lightning female connector?

Does such thing even exist? I don’t see any lightning female accessories on apples website.

I don’t know about that. MFI is a really big market and a way to control user experience. I can see why apple switched to usb c on iPad Pro -for pro users, but I’m not sure if they’ll do the same on iPhones.
