I know it can depend on the type and brand and model of each drive, but has anyone attempted to determine how many MB/sec the iPad Pros USB-C port is sending or receiving data at ?

as a side note, as vocal as I have been in expecting No new iPad Pro in 2019, I will say an 11” iPad Pro with full fledged Thunderbolt 3 port would make me jump on board.

I can only find transfer speeds.

I received a transfer speed of 80 MB (megabytes) per second once, transferring a 2.2gb movie file from 512gb USB-C 2 flash drive. After that first transfer, never anything above ~375 KB per second. I also have a USB-C hard drive but haven't tried transferring anything from it yet.

Honestly, at least with the flash drive I find it painfully slow and have cancelled many transfers/copies. Again, the harddrive may be different.
