So the New Macs Stop JB?

I'm confused.......as usual......with all this recent posting of the new Macs or Itunes update not reading a DFU phone....It stops you from jailbreaking? Does it also stop you from using itunes to restore your iphone to normal after it was already jailbroken? or both? thanks

Nope. Either use a USB hub or the software fix that has just started going around.

After installing the fix, my peripherals stopped working and I had to reinstall Leopard. Others have had the problem.

It is recomended not to use the software fix because of this issue.

Um, yes it does but let's break this down a little more for you:

Yes, because there's a kernel bug with USB that "disables" iTunes from recognizing a jailbroken iPhone in DFU mode.

No. That would mean no one with an iPhone would be able to upgrade.
