So the paint on my MBP is peeling?

I am I missing something? I thought the MBPs were solid metal (Al alloy).

Give them a call, it should not be doing that unless you have abused it. If it were mine, then I would call. You paid a price for it, it shouldn't do that this soon. Give them a call.

It's painted metal.

Take it back! Ive got a MBP, if i ever saw anything looking like peeling paint id be one the phone or down to my local apple store in a shot.

It's painted metal.

There was another long post about this, but the answer is that the case is not painted aluminum. Portions of the case, like the edge around the keyboard is painted plastic, but most of it is anodized aluminum.

Here are the pictures. I got this computer in March. I guess I will call and see what they say, it wont hurt. But I really cannot be without my laptop, not even for a day....
