why would it not happen? did apple say they are "scratch free"? I didn't see that but I doubt Apple would have said so ... every product that goes through normal and excessive use will scratch, eg the sapphire screen on my AW ... big deal

Well yeah he doesn’t seem too bothered and as you say it’s bound to happen at some point as it’s just standard wear and tear
