So when will firmware 3.3 come out?

Obviously, no-one here knows for sure, but is always fun to speculate. When do you all think we will get an update, and what fixes will it have?

For the most part my ipad has been solid, but my wifi has gotten flaky, despite having set up a static IP. I'd also like to see a global brightness setting go a couple shades lower.

It won't be 3.3
It'll most definitely be 3.2.1

they only add another "." for added features, I'm pretty sure. Or major changes. Not just quick fixer uppers.

We probably won't see a 3.3 , since 4.0 is coming out Summer for the iPhone and Fall for the iPad. Or If we will see 3.3, it'll probably be summer time.

I guess seriously though that we may see some bug fixed firmware before the big 4.0

Highly doubt it ever will. We may get a few 3.2.X firmware versions but with 4.0 coming out later this year I don't think there'll be anything bar bug fixes coming in firmware upgrades.

Agree that a clock app would be good though. Made it easy to work out when to call friends and relatives overseas. Suppose there is an app in the Store but still, built in was easier.

Yeah - never cared for the stock apple apps much but loved the clock app as it was my main alarm clock!!!! Would have been cool to include it or at least include an option to dl from iTunes. Maybe they are working on theses missing apps as I remember reading they were not happy with just porting across the iphone version
