So when you guys giving us IPhone 2.0 Firmware

I know its been odd to ask. But just was curious to know. When are you guys giving us the opportunity to install Firmware 2.0. I know its already jailbroken so anyone can install it on their unlocked Iphones.

If you find this thread not proper you guys can delete it...

If by "you guys" you mean people at MacRumors, I'm guessing never. They never give out new iPhone firmware. If by "you guys" you mean Apple, MacRumors isn't Apple so I'm going with never on that one as well. ;)
 
Come on guys use bit common sense. you guys defiantly doesn't means apple it means the hacker community who works for use without getting paid...

Then maybe you should ask on boards focused on iPhone hackers, not MacRumors, where discussing the illegal distribution of software is not allowed. :rolleyes:

Oh Really! Interesting... :rolleyes:

I've heard they have jailbroken and unlocked iphones on 2.0, so it can't be too long. Except that the hacking community might choose to keep the jailbreak and unlock utilities under wrap to prevent Apple from discovering and patching those vulnerabilities before the final software is released to public.
 
Although it's jailbroken, I don't think they'll release it, it's not in the interests of the dev team.

Umm.. Discuss about the Unlock (Is it legal) Discuss about jailbreak (this one too) :confused:
 
You asked when you could install iPhone Firmware 2.0. The answer is: when Apple releases it to the public, probably in late June.

I thought it was kind of a grey area type situation? It's been discussed to death, but is it legal to circumvent measures that they've put onto the phone? I personally don't really care either way, I just want to make sure that saying it's 100% legal is correct
 
The post talking about legal issues was referring to the fact that distributing the 2.0 firmware may be currently illegal, not jailbreaking and unlocking.
