So I ordered a $50 iPod shuffle, and waited 2 weeks and it still hadn't shown up. Then the post office called me, and said they had a box that was too big to deliver and leave on the doorstop... at this point I am thinking that either Apple uses massive unneccessary packages, or the post office are a bunch of pansies. Anyways, I pick up the box and whadda you know theres a $4,500 xserve in it. Interesting dilemma... do the right thing, or profit.

Anyways... I called them and sent it back and they were very happy and sent me the shuffle and refunded my $50. Got a free shuffle out of it. Nice.

Order an iPod shuffle, get a free XServe!

...

And now, imagine the system administrator who ordered that XServe and received your iPod shuffle instead! :D

you got rewarded for your honesty. good for you. they would have eventually realized their mistake and made you pay for the xserve if you'd tried to keep it, so you made the right decision.

Nice to see someone fessing up to doing the right thing, vs looking for justification to install a single user license on 6 computers "because I only use one at a time..."

Cheers:cool:
