So would vidock work with bootcamp to run skyrim on my macbook?

I am currently in possession of a 13" macbook pro from 2011, and it is my baby (no, I do not want a 15" because I travel with it and it comes with me to school). As of late I have been playing skyrim on xbox, and have gotten jealous of pc mods. So, upon research, I have discovered that even in bootcamp running windows 7 my sad little Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB chip won't cut it to run on even the lowest settings. Now, before telling me that I should buy a gaming pc, that it is more cost effective, I do not care. ALL I would like to know is this: Does a thunderbolt vidock (or something similar) work with my laptop, and, if so, what type of video card will it work with, and will that allow me to play skyrim with medium-high range visuals (I plan on playing it in bootcamp windows 7 but I do not want a gaming pc because I despise windows os and this would be the ONLY reason I'd be using it). This is really the first I have looked into getting it to work on my computer, and any information is helpful. Thanks

It'll work, but you'd need an external monitor, and of course, a copy of Windows for bootcamp. It's also not out yet. Since it will be thunderbolt, it'll probably be very expensive. It will also be slower, because Thunderbolt doesn't have the bandwidth.

I know you don't care, but you should just build a gaming PC--cheaper, faster and if you buy the correct parts, it's not hard to turn it into a hackintosh. Either way, you'll have to deal with Windows.

If you want to play Skyrim on Medium to High settings then buying a cheap PC will likely be cheaper than buying a Vidock, monitor and graphics card when it comes out.

A Thunderbolt cable + Sonnet Expresscard adaptor + Vidock is going to run up more than $500 and thats not even counting the graphics card itself. Just buy some cheapo used parts and get assemble a gaming computer.

I am currently taking wagers on whether or not Finder will be killed off in 10.9.

Put me down for Finder not only existing in 10.9 but still having it's place as one of the most used applications in the entire OS.
