So you can only use iCloud with an old MobileMe account?

I had MobileMe, but I practically never used it.

I want to set iCloud up with my main Apple ID (A Gmail address), is this even possible? I don't want to mix crap up, especially considering I never use my @me.com email...

Ah.. I just had to log out of my MobileMe account in MobileMe preferences.
