Tonight where I am (UK) is Apple's Spring announcement where we are expected to hear about a new iPhone, a new iPad and most probably, new watch straps.

However, in regards to the Mac Mini, are we expecting a refresh, are we expecting to be disappointed or are we frankly not giving a hoot?

Opinions please....

Having recently upgraded my 8GB early 2009 with an SSD and a fresh install of El Capitan, I'm no longer thinking about replacing it. It's fast enough for what I need it for.

Likewise, I've upgraded my 2011 to 8GB of RAM - that alone was an enormous boost in performance. Once I put in a couple of SSDs I'm thinking it will do me for another five years.
