The best one likely hasn't been launched yet. My experience shows that the best apps for the past three Olympic (Summer/Winter) were not online until the days before the games started.

That's not an Olympics app though, just a guide to that resort city and what to do if there.

I think it's almost safe to assume the OP will not be at Sochi, and rather just looking for an app to use as a follower of the games from far away.
