iPhone Softra1n - Has anyone purchased it? [iOS 6 Untethered]

Hey,

I just read SoftRa1n has recently come out with an untethered Jailbreak for the iPhone 4, 4S, 3GS and the iPad 2 and 3. I am just wondering about it, because they are charging 25$ for it.. Has anyone purchased it from them?

I am tempted to buy it, but on the other hand I know that eventually it will be released for free.

The only ones I've seen work are ones that came out after the redsn0w releases, but why pay for those? If you want to be a guinea pig, pay with a credit card or CC with PayPal, so that you can just file a chargeback dispute if they send you bogus software.
 
Not gunna chance it, they've got no proof to back it up as far as I am concerned. Seems fishy to me especially the 'Unlock any baseband'.

These guys come out with a new fake jailbreak with every new iOS & hardware update. Don't buy it unless you're a fan of having your information (and money) given to spammers/scammers.
 
Just fallow the real jailbreak Dev's and you won't worry about what's legit. Anybody can start a fake hack to gain money or fame. Even if it's not theirs they will report it if it's legit.
 
Scam

It's absinthe 2for os 5.1.1. Total scam and waste of time. Used PayPal and just got my money back...
 
Until now all jailbreaks have been free, these scams popup everytime a new frimware or device comes out.

People are so eager to get a JB they forget the basics: if its to good to be true…

i think dj ment that Softra1n/SoftUnlockIphone.com is a complete scam, they are selling you the absinthe 2 for 5.1.1…...

Ha Ha Ha!!! I can't say I feel bad for you if you actually paid for a jailbreak.

Jailbreak has always been free, and always will be free. Anybody charging money is either selling you something otherwise available for free, or scamming you out of said money.

Take it as a lesson learned. The internet is your friend and simple 5 minute searches can tell you this stuff is fake.
