1. I transferred my PowerBook software and hard drive to my new MBP 15.4" 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo. Some apps don't work. Also, the Firewire transfer froze with 7 minutes remaining, and there are a mysterious few gigs missing, but who knows which they are. Attempting to restart the process using the "hold T and restart" paradigm yielded "not enough memory" as it attempted not to overwrite its previous attempt but start over.

2. Where the heck is the sensor for the backlit keyboard, and is there a fix to make this thing go on permanently?

3. Can I transfer PB G4 RAM to my MBP? The Apple tech didn't know what he was talking about it seemed; he only mentioned that the RAM for MBPs in the storage have different bar codes and numbers, so "they must be different." Any thoughts?

1. Are you using the Migration Assistant? If not, you should.
2. Sensor is underneath the speaker holes, seemingly on both sides. I don't know if you can hack it.
3. No
