I have a folder containing video clips and need to sort them by their dimensions (smallest to biggest for example). Mac Finder doesn't have the option to do this. Does anyone know of some software or maybe even an extension for Finder that will allow me to do this?

Mac Finder doesn't have the option to do this.

Maybe I'm not understanding exactly what you want to do? Go to a folder full of videos in the Finder and switch to list view. Now right-click the column headings and choose "Dimensions". You can then click that column to sort. For example

Clicking again will toggle between ascending/descending sorting.

Good point! I just checked and that option is not available in Catalina either. I am using Monterey now, so I guess it's a new feature.

So, one option for the OP would be to upgrade to Monterey - IF they have a compatible Mac.
