Ok... I've been wondering for ages and then I've forgot about it ever since. today I went to apple.com again and this thought came back.
What software is used to build apple.com's site? When I mean software I mean something like wordpress (or slightly bit more advanced) to make the site.
It has clean and clear pages and the pages are all neatly laid out and linked. there's also navigation links which I think they're generated.
Is there such a software that is easy to maintain and update? I know joomla and drupal but they're too difficult to use and you can't make it look as neat as apple's site.
I've been making webpages since the beginning of time (about 3 years ago) and they're always web 1.0. last year or so I've began integrating 2.0 into 1.0 for easier updating but you know, things fall apart.
One reason to that is because web 2.0 lacks customisation - you want to make something nice in Photoshop but then it's difficult to merge it with 2.0. With 2.0 I can only mod a bit of this and that. Easier to update though.
