Software to rip timecode sections in a DVD

What software, and i dont mind paying, can do this for me. Everything seems to be directed at copying the dvd's which is not what i want to do. I just want to take sections out and convert them into M2V's or some other mpg format.

Can anyone help?

I believe in DVD Backup you can choose just a chapter to extract. Might look into that and it's free.

yeah, i know you can choose the chapter in that one and it works well, but i need just time codes for a 10 second clips and stuff
