You can try SteerMouse (30-day free trial, then $20) or the more popular USB Overdrive (free if you don't mind a short countdown at launch, otherwise $20).

USB Overdrive will almost always work with any mouse you find and offers a ton of options. SteerMouse is also pretty good and offers a few nice features as well. You can try both for free, so I would give them both a shot to see which one you like better.

Hey supergaia,

You can try out Smooze (I'm the developer):

screen1new.png

Smooze animates your scroll and adds functionality to your non-Apple mouse (scroll-wheel mouse).

* Smooth Scrolling - Every app you own will have buttery smooth scrolling

* Multi Display - Set different scroll settings for each app and display you are using.

* Actions - Save time by attaching mouse buttons to actions

* Auto Scroll - You can now click a selected mouse button once to auto scroll anywhere on the screen, hands free, with buttery smooth animations!

* Gestures - Assign gestures to any button / shortcut / app

* Grab & Drag & Throw - You can now use a mouse button to grab and scroll anywhere on the screen. Throwing will animate the scrolling just like it would on a trackpad

* CPU Friendly - Highly optimized & Uses a very small percentage of your CPU, even on excessive use.

* High FPS - Smooze synchronizes its drawings to the refresh rate of your display which ensures the best scrolling experience.

- Disable scroll acceleration in macOS 10.12 Sierra and up and select the number of lines you want to scroll on each tick (these features are, and will always be, free).

Video & Download

It's $4.89 with a 7 days trial.

P.S The latest version that was released two days ago added Wacom support.

Thanks

Does your program eliminate that erratic scrolling speed when using a mouse wheel?
It's the only thing I hate in macOS compared to Windows.

Yes. That's actually one of the main reasons I developed Smooze in the first place.

Smooze users can now use their Wacom to Grab Scroll & Auto Scroll.

Here's a youtube video for the general functionality. There are more videos in that channel:
