Hi,
My 7+ is running the public beta 5 of 12 and my experience has been kinda average I guess. I’m finding I can’t download from the App Store apart from random moments where it works very slowly plus I now get a message when i check for updates that basically says it is unable to check. When this happens I no longer see the ‘check automatically’ check box (I do realise there aren’t any available updates yet but the check used to work I’m sure).

My questions are, if anyone can help please:
1: Am I right in assuming everyone else has the check update functionally working as expected?
2: Does anyone else have any problems with the App Store to download updates to existing apps or new apps?
3: Does iTunes also check beta updates (e.g. when b6 is out could I use that to update and hope it fixes the other issues?

Thank you for any help
Cheers

I also run PB4 on iPhone 7 (no previous betas, went from 11.4.1 straight to it) and have no issues with the iOS updates or App Store. For the App Store, I always check for updates manually from the Updates section and whatever needs updating can then be updated as usual. Just tried downloading a new app - no problem. Not sure about iTunes beta and iOS beta updates, though, as I usually update OTA, unless I need to restore, in which case it installs the latest ripe iOS version. Hope that the next beta fixes it for you.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Sounds like you did the same as me so if it is working for you then I’ve just found some quirk it seems. I can wipe and start again I just don’t want to if I can avoid it.
Hopefully iTunes will allow an update, appreciate the response. Thanks

Thanks

Apple have just released a new beta today (DB6/PB5), so you could try installing that instead?

Will try, hopefully it works though iTunes. Thanks
