Never ... never ... never go to Software Update to update your software if Apple already has it available for HTML download. That's the first place I check for latest versions of "general" OS X software - general in that sense to mean I'm not sure what new OS X software is available, or where else to get it.

iTunes you can get here: www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I didn't find any updates to iDVD 4 on the download page...

Having problems with Panther? Heh, you're not alone. But just how slow is "soooo slowwwwwww"? And what exactly is taking a long time to complete? Have you upgraded to 10.3.4, or are you still using 10.3?? Also, more specifically on the "slow" issue: Are you working with iDVD a lot? If so, then don't expect your computer to be happy with you if it only has 256MB of RAM. Remember, you're working with a lot of copying and pasting there, so be sure to have about 1GB of memory for intensive iDVD usage. This is where to get your memory.

cheers mate

So i need to get some more memory then, but i meant slow as in when i open iphoto the spinning balñl appears it never did that on jaguar.
I'll get some memory.do you recommend opening the dome and putting some in there as well or just putting it in the normal slot underneath.
Thanks for the advice scottie
