Hi all could you please help me ?
Is it possible to software update a jailbroken iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.2 directly from my iPhone settings ( software update section ) ??

Nope, not possible, if you want to upgrade, you need to connect to itunes, you will however loose the jailbreak and will be stuck on 6.1.3 until a new JB comes out

My question is if I use the software update section in my iPhone settings to upgrade my jailbroken iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.2 to iOS 6.1.3 what would happen ?

Like the user above said nothing will happen.
It will just give you an error saying the update cannot be installed and your phone will stay the same way it is now.
Only way to upgrade to 6.1.3 is to plug it to iTunes and hit restore.
Don't hit update cause then it will get stuck at the apple logo and you will have to end up doing a restore after that.

I don't know what tool they have used to jailbreak my iPhone but I have in my software update section a notification that there is new iOS 6.1.3

So if I tried to use the software update section in my iPhone settings my iPhone will not stuck at the apple logo

If it is just evasion why some of my friends have the software update notification and some of them don't have it ? When they go to the software update section they find nothing just searching and searching for update and nothing happen

Because they did all the updates on cydia and you didnt.
If you open cydia and go to changes and click update once you do the update for evasi0n untether 0.4-1 then yours will behave the same.
You wont have the notification in settings any more and it will be just searching once you go in settings/general/software update.

You're welcome bro.

Bro I had another thread they close it I don't know why the problem is my language I don't speak English very well
Any way I asked a question:
What would happen if I update my jailbroken iPhone software ( iOS 6.1.2 ) using the software update section in my iPhone settings to ios 6.1.3 ??
And one member answer like that :
3 things might happen

1) It won't even allow you to do it
2) Your phone will enter a boot loop where your only option is a DFU restore
3) Your phone upgrades and you lose your jailbreak.

Do you agree my friend because yesterday you told me that option number 3 could not happen ??

Sorry what OTA :)
And if point 3 happend will it be like a i did a full restore or cydia app that I have installed before will stay working in the background without me knowing ??
And sorry for my English againe

For the 5th time

If you update by OTA, it will update your phone to 6.1.3 and erase EVERYTHING that is Jailbreak related

Tweaks
Cydia

But your apps and settings that are not Jailbreak related should stay the same
