I am looking for a program that might make it easy to take a simple software program that was programed for OS9 and down and make it work on OSX. I am sorry if this sounds dumb I am just not sure what I am looking for. I own part of a small software company and we are trying do do our programing on a buget. I have already learned to build installers and change some information. The software will run in classic mode just fine but we would like to make it OSX only.(as I am hearing that OS9 is going the way of the Dodo)

P.S. Last time we did a rewrite it cost us 100K we would like to be about 99K under that. We are also putting th work up for bid. I would just like to know a program so we will be able to change small things like Address and Phone numbers that are built into the program.

Need more info.

First of all what is the program written in. Straight C? C++? Something else? What compiler are you using (CodeWarrior?). Have you looked at using Carbon (which is designed for this).

How big is the code? Have you thought about employing someone (and I'm sorry to say this but someone with a clue about programming) to do this for you?
