few months back I had a chance to sell a 27 inch imac, 3.06 c2d, I was realizing the c2d is getting quite old, I never had major problems for the tasks I was doing, mostly semi demanding audio recording projects

anyway I just placed an order for the base 27 inch i5,

anyway I just placed an order for the base 27 inch i5, during this process I think I lost 400$ and the original imac served me exactly 1year,

was this actually a good move after all:confused::rolleyes::eek:

Do you think it was worth 400$? Whether your purchase is relevant is up to you. For what it is worth, I think your action can be justified saying that you are happy before, during, and after such action. Hope this helps. :)

If you got more than $33.33 a month worth of work/amusment out of it your ahead.

Considering you can spend that by going to the movies 1 night, I think its a bargain.
