I’m pretty much sold out on the iPhone 12. It’s just a polished and smooth device. I really like the native apps.

Recent issues I’ve been running into are having a windows pc and having access to only windows at work when I need a computer.

I hardly use a computer only when needed. I use my iPhone as my personal computer.

Couple days ago I needed to go on our pc because I couldn’t do it on my iPhone. I decided to play around on the pc for a bit. What I noticed was a huge disconnect between my iPhone and pc. Such as bookmarks. On my iPhone I have a load of bookmarks on Safari but on my pc they aren’t the same bookmarks. The bookmarks on the pc are in Google Chrome.

I decided to download the Google Chrome app on my iPhone to see how the syncing would work. Worked well but I absolutely don’t like the Chrome app. I much much prefer and like mobile Safari because it seems way more streamlined with the iPhone.

I then decided to the Gmail app because of push notifications. Like the Chrome app I absolutely don’t like it. I like the native iPhone app. I’ll learn to live without push.

What I’m asking, is there a way to integrate the iPhone with a pc without having to use a platform like Chrome or Gmail? I know it I had a Mac it would.

Or since I hardly use my pc maybe I shouldn’t worry about it but would be nice without having to use another platform. Maybe it’s impossible.

Any comments? Thanks!

Is there no longer Safari for Windows ? Apple used to offer it for a while.

Mine matches up perfectly with safari on my MacBook pro, i am signed into all my icloud stuff on my macbook so what ever i book mark on my phone goes onto my computer, tho it will not work on a windows computer.

Well yea you have MacBook. I have a windows pc.

Use Edge and Outlook on PC and iPhone. They are very good apps on both Windows and iOS.

Ok will give it a shot. Like I said I tried Chrome and Gmail since that’s what I use when I’m on my pc but hate the Chrome and Gmail app.

I have a gmail email since gmail started.

This is my workflow (and Office365 Subscription) for a few years now, and I am very happy. To be sincere, Edge is better than Safari, for me, on iOS. Edge works well with the passwords saved in Keychain too.

I have a work office365 account including email. But I use my gmail address 99% of the time. Never tried Edge. iOS Safari Google is the search engine.
