Solid line instead of dotted?

Hi All,

A quick one I hope, the line separating my apps from the trash and downloads on my dock is a solid line, yet I keep seeing this as a dotted line on other macs.

What gives?

Are the other macs all running mountain lion as well, or are they running an older operating system?

Not sure about other macs, although I looked at one in PC World yesterday and that too was dotted and must have been running ML.

To the poster next down, dock is at the bottom.

Sorry, I meant mine changes from solid to dotted when I change the dock position from bottom to left.

I don't remember what it looked like prior to ML.

The Macs in PC world could potentially be running an older OS. Unless they’re models that have only been around since ML, the people at the store might have simply not upgraded them.
