I have been enjoying my Solo Pro headphones, its sound quality, the instant automatic switching, the ANC, and everything for 5 years. Until the battery degraded and the cushions began desintegrating… So I took them to my Apple Store, and paid the 90€ for battery replacement.
After 2-3 days they called me to pick up my replacement with new batteries and, when we opened the box… Ta-Dah! A Studio Pro headphones appeared. I told the Genius that I the battery replacement was for a Solo Pro, and those Studio Pro were more expensive than my Solo Pro. The Genius went to check what to do, and when came back, asked me if I wanted to keep the Studio Pro or send them back for a Solo Pro headphones.
And I chose to keep the Studio Pro.
I know the Studio Pro don’t have the automatic switching, which is a pity, but they are a newer model, over the ear (which I nowadays prefer), I expect them to be more comfortable, they have Spatial Audio and support Lossless sound.
Do you think this is an upgrade? I haven’t tested them yet.
Any quick way to switch between Apple devices audio?
