Graphics XFX RX580

Note the light blue background, off color login square, pixelated login circle.

This had always been the case, but at some point clarified itself. Now it's back to this.

Is there anything I can do to fix this to normal?

Many Thanks!

The solution is to change to another non XFX graphic card.

I tried my previous XFX RX580 card and it works just fine. The card I used was factory brand new in box from Amazon, all seals intact, so should be identical right (except it was purchased later and could have differences).

I've heard these cards are used for crypto mining and a config/switch is made to do that. Question is how do I check for that?

If you have two XFX RX580 (same model number), one work, one doesn't.

Any you already tried both ROM on the card (if it's a dual ROM card).

Then you may dump the ROM from the good card, and flash it to the bad card.

XFX is well know the customised firmware has compatibility issue on cMP. Not all of them have issue, but only some cards. e.g. Radeon VII are all reference card, so XFX Radeon VII is fine. But the highly customised HD7950 and RX580 often has this firmware compatibility issue on cMP.
