Hey, did anyone run into some issues with display resolution list on Big Sur 11.3 beta? It's missing `1440x900` 😱
Since `beta1` I can't see default settings for scaled resolution as before (11.2 and below) and got only this (mind the weird order):

and the full available list looks like:

Is there any solution to reset that list and get the right options back?

✅ OK, got this fixed. Somehow the `com.apple.windowserver.plist` file disappeared after upgrading to 11.3.

When I re-connected external monitor, mirror screen, change resolutions few times and then restart the Macbook, `windowserver.plist` got back to its place and resolution list got back to normal.

So it's was about missing/corrupted `windowserver.plist`file.

I'm closing the topic.

what happens if you press the options key? It should look like this if you hold your option key by selecting scaled.

Hi there,

I am having exactly the same problem on Bis Sur 11.4 non beta. Unfortunately the posted solution did not work for me so far. Does anyone have an idea how I can get my 1440 x 900 HiDPI solution back? This is driving me nuts.

Thank you in advance

Oliver
