Hello,

The resolution of iPhone XS screen is 1125×2436.
It's the one I can use for wallpaper if Perspective Zoom is disable.
What is the one to choose when it's enable ? Must be a little bigger but I have no idea of the exact one...

I'd like to change wallpaper with Shortcuts app, so I have to know that 😉

Best regards

Hello @ecatomb. You're French ?

Have a good day

Go to this site:
For each release of iPhones/OS’s, they do a detailed analysis including any rendering bugs caused by the OS. You can also use some of their dimensions as a template to build your own.

I find the same resolution that I wrote in my first post. And few thing about how disable "perspective zoom" so ... I will just give up this idea.

My wallpaper have the same resolution than the screen : 1125×2436
I will keep the turn on "Reduce Motion" part in my Shortcuts in order to change wallpaper. So they won't be cropped

1301x2820. They’ve got lots of examples of wallpapers with different features, you have to look for the ones meant for use with perspective zoom. (Sorry, I wasn’t able to provide a direct link earlier)

Thank you. I tried that, but it doesn't seem to be the same between :
  • 1125×2436 without perspective zoom
  • 1301x2820 with it

There’s another site I bookmark that provides a different value for the parallax enabled wallpaper for the XS
However, I’ve always had lots of success designing my wallpapers using heyeased’s templates.

Previously, I should have done a mistake...
I took a 1125×2436 photo and create a 1301x2820 one with white part on the border.

I had something like that with Photos app and "Perspective Zoom" on (same white part at the top)
IMG_4784.jpeg

I tried again today with Shortcut app and it was ok. No white bar... o_O
So I think I failed yesterday in the size of the photo

At the same time, I found that we can disable (or not) "Perspective Zoom" when changing Wallpaper in Shortcuts app.
No need to turn on/off "Reduce Motion" anymore

I could now create my own wallpaper with "Perspective Zoom" if I want.
Thank you for your help 😊

As you said, data from heyeased are the good one 😉
