So I upgraded my iPhone 12 to 14.3 Tuesday. Immediately upon rebooting I noticed certain notifications only appearing on my phone, that before would correctly appear on my Apple Watch. For instance the Wyze app now only vibrates the phone and shows a notification, instead of appearing on my Watch. I've also had a couple times when iMessages appear on the Phone and not the watch.

BTW; other apps work perfectly, alerting on the watch when the Phone is not in use. So its only certain apps that no longer alert/notify to the watch, when they worked perfectly in 14.2.x

Thinking its maybe an incompatibility between the latest iOS and WatchOS I also went ahead and upgraded my Watch to the latest WatchOS, but the problem persists.

I've double checked the Notification settings on the watch and the app(s) DEFINITELY have notification enabled (Mirror Phone). I've attempted to switch that option off/on to see if that would kick it, but no. I've rebooted both devices, still no. At this point i'm out of options, but i'm 100% sure this is a 14.3 bug.

Anybody else seeing this?

Deleted and reinstalled the Wyze app, and the problem remains. Notifications for that app appear on the Phone and refuse to appear on Watch.

There’s a theory on the Wyze community forum that malformed notifications by the Wyze app were crashing the watch, causing the watch to get in to a respring loop. I certainly had times when my watch did this, but at the time I didn’t attribute it to Wyze.

I’m wondering whether in 14.3 the OS is preventing malformed notifications from going to the watch, thus preventing crashes/resprings. This could explain why Wyze notifications are not appearing on the watch now.

Same problem here. I used to get WYZE notifications on the watch. Watch is still set up for mirror but no camera notifications.

Since one of the benefits of wearing the watch is you can silence the phone, I never see the notifications until I open up the phone.

Anybody have any good news on this issue?
