I've tried searching beforehand, but I can't seem to find an answer to the same problem I'm currently having:

1. Some of my apps don't work on the Wi-Fi at my home. These include Twitch, Bumble, Hulu, the App Store, and IMDB (I'm sure there might be more, but I haven't found any). However, from what I've checked, all of the other apps work just fine (Wikipedia, Safari, Coffee Meets Bagel, Instagram, Netflix, YouTube, etc.). What's even more strange is that all of my apps work when I'm connected to the Wi-Fi at work. I can't figure out what the issue is. If my home Wi-Fi is the problem, then why do a majority of the apps work? If it's a problem with the app itself, then why are they fine at work?
I've tried resetting network settings, I've tried re-installing the apps (except the App Store), I've tried pressing the blue I in the blue circle next to the Wi-Fi name and disabling Private Address, I've tried resetting my Wi-Fi/router, etc. but I'm having no luck.

2. My parents are having an issue where they can't AirPlay YouTube videos regardless of whether they're connected to Wi-Fi or LTE; only the sound plays. All of their other streaming videos play, though.

We are all on IOS 14. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I have Local Network OFF - no issues
I do keep Private OFF and using AdGuard Pro built in local VPN.

There were / issues with the Apple Airport Extreme router, also Bluetooth, but that was WiFi Calling issue.

By the time ios gets to 14.2+ i think most bugs will finally be ironed out 😾

The frustrating thing is, the apps that are giving me problems are the apps that are not showing up in the Local Network list.

I would like to know when and why Local Network is even needed. Then give me a global on/off switch - still able to turn on the one or two that actually need it.

I do not like the new defaults. Ask. Don’t just blindly assume the user wants it. That goes for a number of features. Most apps don’t need Bluetooth either. And with wide area broadcasting and Airdrop always announcing your presence.

I wanted to change a widget but you can’t, have to remove and add with other widget style, in this case larger battery widget with numbers. I’d use list but it is not smart enough to dynamically resize itself based on them number of items with battery readings - phone, AirPod (2), headphones, pencil. Too many BT devices in house for Apple to handle.
Wish it showed Apple TV remote. Keeps losing connection even as it shows 99%, worse with Apple TV+ 4K 14.01

shows me that design elements are lacking.
it’ll be better by April.
we’ll have this type of none sense every year with a new version.

I’ve lost my appetite for kool-side.
