Hello,

I updated my osx from Mavericks to Yosemite and I notice some folder icons are not the new ones. Look at my screenshot. How can I resolve this ? Many thanx.

My first guess is the app that installed those folders will need to update them in an app update. Maybe they're not true system folders so aren't rendered by the same icon.

All those Mac OS X Leopard-style folders are from third-party software. So those third-parties like Google have to update them. Not Apple.

PS As a temporary fix you can select a folder > Hit command + I > select the icon in the info window and hit backspace. That way you remove the custom icon leaving you with a default OS X Yosemite folder. No idea if the app will restore the custom icon next time you launch it though.

Good point, but it's weird that his Dropbox icon is the old style when mine has been updated. The only icon that I have that has not been updated is OneDrive.
