I uploaded about 9GB of fonts so I can share them across my Macs. It has been about 5-hrs and when I check iCloud Drive on one of my Macs some of the font folders have the little icon showing the cloud with the downward pointing arrow. This shows next to the file name in Finder. It does not appear for all of the folders, just some of them. What does this mean?

Thanks.

I believe it means "This file/folder hasn't been downloaded to the local storage of this Mac. It is available at any time if you have an internet connection, but be aware that if you don't have an internet connection, this file/folder is not accessible"

What I'm wondering is why out of 1,800 font folders that I put into iCloud, it is choosing to not download a handful of of these font folders. Nothing that I can tell seems much different about them; the file sizes of the folders are about the same, they are named similarly....

Thanks.

How much space is left on your local drive? It probably just started downloading them in parallel and then reached a point where it felt too little local storage was left for it to make sense?

I believe you can alt-click and select download now
