I have a trial of Logic Pro 11 installed, downloaded the complete sound library, all instruments and loops.

Still have Garageband on my Mac, wanted to do the same, install the complete sound library and all loops. All instruments are installed but there are quite a few loops that never get installed. They're greyed out, and clicking on the little arrow next to them doesn't do anything.

I've tried to reinstall the complete Garageband sound library, re-indexed the loops library several times, all to no avail.
Any suggestions ?

I had the same exact problem and after doing a Google search, I see that lots of other people have too. I actually uninstalled Logic Pro Trial and wanted to go back to Garageband only. However, many many many Logic Pro files remained and I too had many greyed out Apple Loops. I actually called Apple Support on Friday to get it all straightened out and after two hours on the phone, with both Logic Pro support and Garageband support, all the remaining LP files have been eliminated and my GB Apple Loops and Library are all restored. No more greyed out anything. I wish I could explain the process but there were too many steps. in the process, I recaptured about 20-22GB of hard disk space. I suggest having Apple Support help you, either by phone or at the Apple Store.
