I updated to 1.1.1 and when it was all finished, my phone said I needed to connect to iTunes to activate my phone... However, iTunes told my I needed to enter my phone lock password before iTunes could see the phone. I was stuck in an endless loop with no apparent solution, and no way to restore the phone or de-activate the phone lock.

I searched the forums and apple discussion, and seem to be the only one that had this problem. So I finally called apple support... After 45 minutes on hold, I got a guy that helped me... He showed me how to force iTunes to see the phone in order to restore the phone... I unfortunately lost all my settings, and am having to start over... but I know for future updates to turn off the phone lock password!

One thing I definitely would like to see is a way to delete multiple e-mails, and empty the trash can in future updates!!!

Now that I am back up and running, time to explore the new features!!!

I guess it would help if I had said how to do that!

If you turn off the iPhone, hold the home button down for 10 seconds, then connect the iPhone to your computer. At that point, iTunes will ask if you want to restore the iPhone.
