Having issues with my new M4 Max MBPro. For at least a week I've been having issues with various apps not syncing to iCloud. I restarted and updated to Sequoia 15.2 which seemed to fix it, but on waking from sleep today the problems returned. Quick summary:
  • Reminders: not syncing to the cloud
  • Notes: not syncing to the cloud
  • Homekit: first message was "loading accessories" forever, today it's "You must be signed into iCloud to use Home" (I'm definitely signed in)
  • Photos: "Syncing with iCloud Paused" and then it tells me I need to accept new iCloud terms and conditions. But clicking on the Settings button does not bring up any terms to accept.
  • Calendars: syncing fine
  • Email: syncing fine
  • Messages: seem to be syncing
  • Contacts: syncing fine
  • Health reminders ("low how you're feeling") syncing fine

Another issue to note: when I go into the iCloud settings on the Mac and try to turn off individual apps like Home or Reminders the little switch goes "off" for a second and then it immediately turns itself back on again. And this is only happening on the M4 MacBook Pro; my iPhone 14 Pro and iPad Air 4 are syncing fine as is my M1 Studio (also on Sequoia). Whatever's going on is specific to the M4.

Any ideas to try besides cycling iCloud off and on? Any kind of "reset" command I can use in the Terminal?

Have you logged out of iCloud on all devices, then logged in again?

Are all devices signed in with the SAME iCloud user name & password?

Is iCloud data "full"? Since you are synching photos, if you are leaning only on the "paltry" 5GB free iCloud?
I have upgraded iCloud storage so space isn't the issue.

I'm loathe to log out of iCloud on every device if this is the only one screwing up.
