Hello there. I had just purchased my first iMac ever about a few days back. I've been solving as many questions as I can without asking for help.
Some I think I will just have to ask, being I am running in circles and can't find an answer.
One thing though, some questions are more so out of curiosity than technical issues. I have a linux system, and would like to know if some is available on the iMac.
Sorry, on to the questions:
1. I noticed when viewing files and folders on here, it's in alphabetical order. That'd be nice, except it doesn't separate the folders and files like Windows and Linux does. How do I go about getting it so that the folders come first, in alphabetical order, then the files?
2. I am having a problem with some mp4 files. The ones that work, that I download, shows QT near the end, obviously meaning Quicktime. Going by memory, the ones that don't work say something like aavc, or aacv, something else, but the website claims it's playable on "quicktime".
3. This is where I am more curious on if there's a feature for this. Linux offered a "always on top/bottom" feature. Most windows (not the OS, but just windows on the screen) can have this feature to always be on top or bottom of other windows. Is this available on the iMac?
4. One other one, Linux also has "grip" (burning CD into an .MP3 format) and "easytag" (writing tags to such files like mp3s). Is there any software out there that can pretty much do just that?
Thank you to those who can help.
