Hi, I just got the iPhone for Christmas. Very excited. A few questions, though.

1. Can I manually sync my movies, music, photos, etc? Just like an iPod? I am having trouble dragging and dropping files onto the phone.

2. Does the iphone only play mp4 movies (like the ipod)? Or can I play Divx?

3. Do I really have to pay 99 cents to convert a file to ringtone form?

Thanks, guys!

Enjoy your new toy.

1. You manage content through iTunes. You can specify what you want synced.

2. No Divx.

3. Yes.

Hi,

1. Drag and drop doesn't seem to work you must check the songs you require then sync with Iphone.

3. ringtones can be done with music you have already. using a 3rd party sound editor 'wavepad' cut the song to required length. save in .wav form and drop into itunes. convert to AAC format. open in file explorer from itunes. change extension from .m4c to .m4r double click song and it should appear in ringtone folder. sync iphone and change ringtone on phone as normal.

I think this is exactly how i did it yesterday but if it doesnt work it wont be far off and hopefully it will help a few people out.

Cheers
Simon :)

Download SUPER to convert your stuff to mp4, and look at hacktheiphone.com for ringtone methods...
