Hey guys. I just have a few simple questions about the built in iSight for you today.

1. If I am using iChat AV and I see that one of my AIM buddies is online, but he is running a Windows machine, and he has a web camera, will we be able to do a video chat cross platform?

2. If I were to get aMSN (MSN for Mac that allows web cam chats) or I simply boot Windows XP on my Mac, will I be able to use that built in iSight as my primary web camera even on the Windows version of Messenger?

Thanks to whoever answers my newbie questions. :)

1) Yes. If they have a webcam and a mic and all then invite or get them to invite you to an a/v chat - i recently did it with a friend who's at uni a ways away, she has a dell. Now if only they could do it cross client...

2) The webcam doesn't work in bootcamp just yet. Other than that I don't have any experience with aMSN, but if aMSN supports av chats it should work fine. However, like i said, the iSight DOES NOT work in windows under boot camp

JurgenWigg, that is NOT true.

There was a BootCamp update and the iSight works fine in Windows now.

Install the latest bootcamp.
