Some questions about mini + 4:3 tv

I'm getting an intel mini in a couple of weeks, i'll be using my 4:3 CRT tv as the only display. The main use of this computer is video and music but also some using a mac mini with this kind of tv? experiences? Is the text and graphics shown clearly?

I don't have a mini, but hook up my iBook to a 32" Sony CRT fairly often. It's fine for music, pictures & video, but the text is only barely usable. There's a good reason the original Apple II and similar vintage systems used text screens that were 40x25 characters.
